Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats and Kids:
Reservations - We accept reservations but I reserve the right to retain any kid born. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 for unborn kids, animals already born require a $100 deposit. I no longer require deposits. Sales are on a first-come basis. Money down assures you a first chance from a particular breeding. Order of reservations are determined by date of deposit received. Once a buyer makes the decision to purchase 1/2 (half) the purchase price is required and must be received within 2 weeks to hold the animal. Pay Pal and checks are accepted. Deposits are not refundable due to change of heart or other circumstances. Full payment is due prior to pick up allowing time for the check to clear your bank or the balance can be paid in cash upon pick up. All animals must be picked up or shipped within 60 days. If not, they will be made available for sale to others and any deposit will be forfeited. Payment in full is required before any animal leaves our farm including all costs related to testing and shipping. All sales are final once an animal has been picked up, delivered or shipped. Please contact me immediatelty on the arrival of your animal as I am concerned about it's welfare and your satisfaction as a buyer.
Kids are sold with registration applications for ADGA and some also with AGS. Most, but not all adult animals are dual registered with ADGA and AGS
Testing - The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with testing. All out of state travel and all airlines require a health certificate. Please let me know what tests are required by you and your state when you first contact me as it may take several weeks for a veterinary farm call and results to come back.
Pricing - Kids out of first fresheners start at $300. Prices fluctuate depending on show quality, development of mammary system and milk production. Wethers are $75 or for a nominal fee with the purchase of any animal. All animals are dis-budded and dewormed prior to shipping. I recommend a follow up fecal test, especially for coccidia in kids as it flares up during stress.
Shipping - We'd love to have you visit our farm and pick up your animal in person. But if you are unable to do so, arrangements may be made for meeting at a designated location. I deliver free to any shows I may be attending. Duluth, Minnesota is the closest airport to ship from. It's a 4 hour round trip and I charge $75 for this service. Prices may vary depending on the price of gas. I could also ship out of Minneapolis/St.Paul but the round trip travel time is 7 hours so my fee is $100 and could change depending on the current price of gas.
All kids can be shipped at 4 weeks of age, but need to be bottle fed for 8 weeks minimum. If you are able to get your kid at 4 weeks of age, it is a wonderful time to bond with your new little Nigerian Dwarf kid. Kids are shipped in airline approved dog crates. I purchase the appropriate size crate and you reimburse me the cost prior to shipping. Most kids travel well. I will not air ship adult animals. Ground transportation can be arranged at buyer's cost.
All animals are guaranteed healthy and free of disqualifying faults when they leave our farm. Since we cannot control any stress that may occur as the result of shipping or the animals care or environment once it leaves our farm, we cannot offer any further guarantees.
